For all that is Altered.

Happy Thursday everyone Janie here today. I hope you are enjoying your week. Tomorrow is a holiday here in Canada. It's Canada Day yippee. Anyway wanted to wish you all a Happy 4th of July as well.

Onto my challenge this week my challenge for you is to break out of your comfort zone and alter something. You can alter anything you like I am not picky as long as it's not a card or a layout we are good :). So I am going to show you my example for this challenge I adore this little box I altered I think it's very cute.

Anyway here it is MY WOODY

I took the Surf's up Kit and went nuts on my Woody.. I used the Distress ink and coated my project in it I love how it looks I added a star stitched using my sew easy products which i bought through the Scraptastic store. I used Modge Podge to seal my project. If you are wondering yes I removed the metal findings, altered the box and then put the findings back on..

So get cracking everyone. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Have a safe and Happy holiday Hugs.Make sure to share your project using the in linkz tool below to win this month's prize, Echo Park's Splash Collection.

You can find the other June Challenges here, and remember you have until July 6th at midnight to link up all of your submissions for the June Challenges:

The Shear fun of it!!

Hello everyone!! Michelle here today. Happy Thursday!!! How can that be already??!!! The week is whizzing by! With that being said, Thursday is also the day the new challenge is given!! I am excited to be issuing my first challenge for Scraptastic Club!!

So, let's get to it!! We all have them. They are the old forgotten tool. The tool that was there before any of the fancy cutting systems came out! We are talking about our decorative scissors. I know everyone has them. I certainly do! So, let's dig those decorative scissors out. Pull them out of your kids art bin!! Let's see what you can do with them!! Here is my example. I made this with the Birthday Wishes kit. I dug out the pinking shears (did ya guess that from the title?? LOL) and cut around my big circle. I wanted a decorative edge, but didn't want the tradition scallop and such that I can get with my punches. Now, it is your turn!! I can't wait to see what you create. Make sure to share your project using the linkz below to win this month's prize, Echo Park's Splash Collection.

The more times you play along with the challenges, the more chances to win!!! You have until July 6th at Midnight to submit your projects. To get an extra entry into the drawing, become a follower of this blog and post a comment here letting me know that you did this.

You can find the previous challenges HERE, HERE and HERE.

water balloons???

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!
I had planned on finishing up some projects last night that I started, but the kids had a couple of friends over for dinner, and after dinner, the boys went outside to have a water balloon fight. When I went outside to check on the them, the 2 turned into 6, which later turned into about 8-10 kids. Needless to say I had to join in on the water balloon fun! By 8:00, we ran out of water balloons, so I started spraying all the kids with the hose which turned into tug of war! At 8:30, we were all pretty tired, soaked and dirty....and the kids have all planned to come back today for another fun evening filled with water balloons. I wish I had taken some pictures last night, I'll try to tonight! By the time I got my kids washed and into bed it was creeping on 10:00 and I went to bed, so no time was spent last night on my projects, I will finish them up this weekend!

I do have a couple of projects from DT Juliann Marchant to share, she used the Birthday Wishes kit and Add-On.....

just be you......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!
I hope that everyone is having a great week so far.....well, I've been trying to get back into a scrappy mood.....I haven't scrapped since Saturday, so last night I sat down and made this with my Birthday Wishes kit and the challenge over at Paper Variety to use different alphas.....

Super simple, but I like it. This picture is of Declan when he was little wearing his Tigger costume from when he was like 10 months old. He wore this all the time around the house.....in this picture the only part of the costume that is on him is the Tigger head and the arms. So funny, he's always marched to the beat of his own drum. I have some other layouts and cards to finish up with the June kits.

If you're looking for the June challenges you can find them here...
Have a wonderful day.....be sure to check back tomorrow for our 3rd June challenge!

having fun with birthday wishes......

Good morning my Scraptastic friends!

It's very quiet around here.....the kids are with my in-laws, so I've been getting lots of scrapping done, but I only have one to share with you today. I used the Birthday Wishes kit for this one. It's a picture of Declan from his 1st Birthday Party!
There's just something about this picture that I love.....can't seem to figure out what it is!

I also wanted to share another one from DT Juliann, it's based on today's sketch over at What's Scrapping. She also used the Birthday Wishes kit and Add-On.

I just love this one!

2nd June Challenge

Hi everyone! It's Heather, and I'm here to challenge you this week. I would like for you to base your layout on this sketch that I created. The only other requirement is that your layout have a banner of some sort. You can use pre-made banners or create your own. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here is my example layout. I created it using the June kit and add on from Scraptastic Club called "Surf's Up". As you can see, I flipped the sketch horizontally to make it work better with my photo.

You can find the first June challenge here. Reminder: You will have until July 6th to complete all of June's challenges. A new challenge will be posted every Thursday.....so be sure to stop by and check them all out. The more of the challenges you do, the more entries you'll receive for the drawing. Please use Mr. Linky below to link up your submission for this week's challenge. The winner will receive Echo Park's Splash Collection kit!

***You do not have to purchase any of our products to take part in any of our challenges.....for an extra entry into the drawing, become a follower of this blog, just make you sure that you leave a comment to this post letting me know that you did!
